César Franko is an Argentine musician, singer, and songwriter born in the city of Mar del Plata. At an early age, he pursued his dreams in Mexico, where he lived for ten years and began shaping his musical career.
His talent as a songwriter captured the attention of renowned artists across the Americas, including Camilo Echeverry, OV7, Edith Márquez, Pablo Tamagnini (La Konga), Olga Tañón, David Bustamante, and many more. His song "Desilusióname," performed by Olga Tañón, was nominated for the Billboard Awards as "Best Song of the Year" in 2006, reaching #4 on the Billboard charts in the U.S. and Latin America. This milestone solidified his career, contributing to over 70 songs recorded, and earning him accolades with 10 gold records and 6 platinum records.
In 2006, Cristian Castro invited César to open his concerts during his Latin American tour, performing in iconic venues such as Luna Park (Argentina), Víctor Jara (Chile), Kodak Theatre (USA), and across countries like Guatemala and El Salvador.
Franko's talent was recognized with multiple "ASCAP Awards" in the U.S. for his songwriting achievements in 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2016. His song "Dime," performed by Julión Álvarez, entered the Billboard Top Ten in 2015 and 2016.
His debut album, "Entre Mis Cosas," made an impact in Latin America with the hit song "Horóscopo." Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable artists such as Diego Torres, Noel Schajris, Yahir, and Reily. In 2011, he performed alongside Diego Torres at the Fillmore in Miami, and in 2012, he received a Latin Grammy nomination for his participation in Myriam Hernández's album.
